About Thorngood Studios

Thorngood Studios is the brainchild of Registered Nurse Sharon Barnhill and Astronomer Marc Dantonio, created with one mission: to make learning fun, exciting, and within the reach of every child.

When a child is placed in a safe and enriched environment, they learn to read, develop a love for exploration, and their possibilities become limitless. Hatred, violence and bigotry are learned traits.

What started with one old, grumpy puppet, Professor Cecil Thorngood, quickly grew into an entire puppet family, each character helping bring science to life in a way that sparks curiosity and confidence.

My thoughts on AI. I use AI tools. What would have taken weeks and an army of staff to recreate, I now can do in hours. The puppets, their books and videos where created with the use of AI tools. The designs, ideas and inspiration are mine.

My thoughts on innervation. With the invention of the car, blacksmiths became mechanics. The airplane mechanics of World War I were all born before the airplane was invented. All the astronauts who went to the Moon were born before invention of rockets. Children born today will have jobs in fields yet to be imagined.

Our grandchildren will rewrite the human blueprint, rebuild broken ecosystems, expand civilization outward, and solve the most difficult problems. The future belongs to the courageous and the curious. We just need to get out of their way.
